The British Middle Class

Nowadays, more and more Britons regard themselves as middle class, in last 40 years, the number of this has risen about 44%. Although there is still 53% of Britons say that they are working class, and only 43% regard themselves as middle class, in 2020, people who regard this will increase to a huge number and exceed working class.

Middle classes usually have good house which is more expensive than the working classes', and quite many of them have high-level degree of education. The averages of their incomes, savings, inverstments and debts are much more than the people who regard themselves as woking class.
However, the increase of the number of the middle class shows that there are some people have better life than working class but worse than the quite rich middle class. Therefore, a new class type is engendering: Muddle Class. This means some people who is in the process of becoming middle class will be defined as the muddle class.

From all of these, it is clear to see that British middle class are rising, and the number of middle class will replace the working class to become the largest class in the UK.
